Easy Homemade Hummus

 INGREDIENTS

  • Two cups garbanzo beans soaked over night
  • Olive oil
  • One Lemon or Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Celtic Salt
  • Garlic cloves (>3 cloves)
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Optional: Nutritional Yeast Seasoning / Other healing spices & herbs like, Tumeric!

Easy Homemade HEALTHY Hummus!

 

DIRECTIONS:

#1. Soak 2 cup dried garbanzo beans overnight (or 8 hours) in a medium size pot! Cover with lots of water because the beans will double in size.

#2 Cover and cook until done (about 30min).

#3 Add cooked beans to blender or food processor, and save the bean water to add for right consistency

#4 Pour in a good pour of olive oil

#5 Add the bean water until the right consistency (smoother than mashed potatoes)

#6 Add the juice of the lemon OR apple cider vinegar if you don’t have a lemon

#7 Add salt, garlic, paprika & cayenne pepper to taste.

(You can also add Nutritional Yeast Seasoning or other spices/herb that you like!)
